    1 cup sour cream
    2 tablespoons shortening
    3 tablespoons sugar
    1/8 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 large egg
    1 package yeast
    1/4 cup warm water
    3 cup flour

    Recipe



    Bring cream to boil, add shortening, sugar, baking soda and salt
    Cool to lukewarm and add eggs and yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water.
    Mix in flour and knead until smooth.
    Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
    Roll 1/4 inch thick to 16 by 8 rectangle.
    Spread 2 tablespoon butter on half then 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
    Fold over half. Cut in 24-1 inch strips
    Twist and put on baking pan.
    Cover and raise 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
    Frost while warm with powdered sugar glaze.
