Shallot-finely chopped 1 Tbsp.
Garlic-pressed 1 large clove
Salt 1/2 tsp
Black Pepper-freshly ground 1/2 tsp.
Cayenne Pepper Pinch
Dry Mustard 1 Tbsp.
Sugar 1/2 tsp.
Water 1 Tbsp.
Balsamic Vinegar 1/4 cup
Olive Oil-extra virgin 1 cup
Recipe
1. Combine first nine ingredients in a pint
jar and shake well.
2. Add the olive oil and shake until emulsified.
3. Refrigerate and allow flavors to blend
several hours or overnight.
(This is especially good on green salads with freshly grated Reggiano Parmesan and roasted pine nuts.)
