    List of Ingredients




    INGREDIENTS:
    1/2 kilo medium-size squid
    water
    1 tablespoon kalamansi juice
    oil for frying
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    2 eggs, slightly beaten with some salt
    1 cup bread crumbs

    Recipe



    Clean squid. Remove heads, ink sac and membrane. Wash bodies then cut into 1/4 inch rings. Place in a glass or plastic bowls. Add enough water to cover and the kalamansi juice. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

    Heat oil in a wok. Drain squid rings and pat dry. Dredge in flour then dip in eggs. Coat with breadcrumbs then deep fry until golden brown and crisp. Serve with hot sauce or sweet and sour sauce.
