    Pecan Cheese Logs

    2 packages (8-ounces each) cream cheese,
    at room temperature.
    1-1/2 cups shredded ceddar cheese
    2 cans (4-ounces each) diced green chiles,drained
    1/4 cup dried onion flakes, softened in 1/4 cup water
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    2 cups chopped pecans Crackers, sliced fruit and vegetaables for serving


    Directions:
    In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chilies, softened onion flakes, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Form into two 8-inch logs, wrap and refrigerate for about 15 minutes.

    Place nuts on waxed psper and roll each log in the nuts. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for about 1-hour. Serve with crackers and sliced fruit.
