    CHERRY-DATE LOGS

    3 Eggs
    1 Cup Sugar
    1 1/2 Cups Flour
    1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
    1 tsp. Vanilla
    1 1/2 Cups Dates, cut up
    1 Cup Graceland dried Cherries
    1/2 Cup Nuts, Chopped
    1 tsp. Red Food Coloring

    Beat eggs and sugar. Sift together flour and baking powder. Add vanilla to egg mixture. Fold in dates, cherries, nuts and coloring. Spread on a greased 10x15 jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cut while hot in 1x4 pieces and roll in powdered sugar while warm.
