    CHERRY SPUMONI
    Makes about 1 quart.

    2 cups heavy cream
    2/3 cup (7 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
    1/2 teaspoon rum flavoring
    1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
    1/2 cup slivered almonds, chopped
    1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips

    Combine heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk and rum flavoring in a large bowl; mix well.
    Refrigerate 30 minutes.
    Remove from refrigerator and beat just until soft peaks form; do not overbeat.
    Fold in cherry pie filling, almonds and chocolate chips.
    Spoon into an 8x8x2-inch pan.
    Cover and freeze about 4 hours, or until firm.
    Scoop out to serve.
