    Salt Dough Ornaments.

Stir water, food color, and salt together for 1 minute Mix in flour until absorbed
    Knead for 2 minutes
roll out on a lightly floured surface to 1/4 inch thick and form into shape with cookie cutters. Use a straw to make holes in the top of each one for a ribbon to hang on the tree.
Place on a foiled cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for 1-1 and 1/2 hours until firm. Larger ones may take more time, smaller ones will take less time. Let cool completely.

Paint with acryllic paint if desired, and coat with varnish or spray gloss. Decorate with glitter, or whatever you want. Put a ribbon through the hole, and hang on the tree. (I do not recommend saving them from year to year.)
