    These are the cookies my brother and sister and I fought over as children. They are so good. I have never been able to master making them.

    List of Ingredients




    2 cups flour
    1 tablespoon sugar
    White wine about a demi tasse size cup
    a little lukewarm water
    1 egg
    1/2 cup oil
    pinch of salt
    Sprinkles
    Cinnamon
    Honey
    oil for frying

    Recipe



    Mix together all ingredients except sprinkles, cinnamon and honey. Batter should be a pizza dough consistency. Roll out with a rolling pin. Cut into strips, pinch into rosette shapes. Fry in hot oil.
    Melt honey and a little water and cinnamon. Boil. Put on top of cookies then sprinkles and touch more cinnamon.
