    Italian Cream Cake

    Italian Cream Cake

    List of Ingredients

    2 cups sugar 1 tsp. vanilla
    2 cups flour 1/2 cup crisco
    1 tsp. soda 1 stick oleo
    1/2 tsp. salt 5 eggs seperated
    1 cup buttermilk 1 can angel flake coconut

    Icing
    12 oz. cream cheese 1 1/2 stick oleo
    1 1/2 box powdered sugar 1 cup chopped nuts
    Mix all together and spread on cooled cake. Enjoy.

    Recipe

    Cream eggs and sugar with crisco and oleo until fluffy. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk. Add coconut and vanilla, then fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
