    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
    • 2/3 cup butter
    • 1 egg
    • 1 1/2 cup flour
    • 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 cup nuts, optional
    • 1 package chocolate chips


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 375
    2. Mix both sugars, margarine and egg in large bowl with wooden spoon. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt (dough will be stiff), stir in nuts and chocolate chips
    3. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet
    4. Bake until light brown, about 10-12 minutes. Let cookies cool slightly, then remove from cookie sheet with a spatula.
