    Recipe Introduction

Although, I usually use the store bought refrigerated pie crusts to save time; this is one of the best homemade pie crust recipies that my family ever tried. It can be stored in the refrigerator or even in the freezer for quite a long time.

    List of Ingredients

    • 6 cups flour
    • 1 pound lard
    • 1 Tablespoon salt

    Instructions

    1. Add the salt to the flour.
    2. Cut the lard into the flour until fine and crumbly.
    3. When ready to use, mix with water in the following proportions.
    4. For 1 crust 8 inch pie- Use 1 1/4 cup mix and 1-1 1/2 Tablespoons water.
    5. For 2 crust 8 inch pie- use 2 cups of mix and 2-3 Tablespoons water.
    6. For 1 crust 9 inch pie- Use 1 1/2 cup mix and 1 1/2 - 2 Tablespoons water.
