List of Ingredients
Great for day old bread! Curl slices of white or wholemeal bread into rounds and lightly butter both sides. Place in patty pan tins and bake until golden and hard. ( Will keep for ages in airtight container).
To serve, fill with one of the following:
baked eggs and bacon, sausage, ham and some cheese
scrambled eggs, breakfast meat, cheese sauce/shredded cheese
breakfast burrito mixture
tuna salad
egg salad
creamed chipped beef
chicken and cream of chicken soup
any thick soup (baked potato, clam chowder, etc.)
leftover meat (roast, chicken, etc.) and gravy
chili, cheese and onions (maybe a couple of cut up hot dogs)
left over stir fry
