    1 cup butter or margarine
    1/2 cup confectioners sugar
    1 Tblsp vanilla
    2 1/4 cup Cake flour
    1/4 Tblsp Salt

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix butter, sugar & vanilla. Stir in flour & salt. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased sheet. Bake 8 minutes. While warm, dip in confectioners sugar.

    Variation: To make Almond Meltaways: Substitute 1 tablespoon of almond extract for vanilla.
