    7 inches round elastic

    Cut fabric 4 inches x length desired. For a full scrunchie, cut 4-inch x 44/45 length of fabric. For a not-so-full scrunchie, cut a 4-inch x 22 length or half the width of your fabric. Sew the long edges with right sides together. Take a safety pin and turn the tube through itself to the right side. Insert the elastic with a safety pin or an elastic guide.

Sew up the long edges with right sides together. Take a safety pin and turn the tube through itself to the right side. Insert the elastic- with elastic guide or safety pin. Either knot or sew the elastic. Turn under one of the edges and either hand stitch or machine stitch the opening closed.
