    2 baked 9-inch round cake layers, cooled
    1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
    JELL-O Beans for garnish
    Red or black shoestring licorice for " whiskers"

    Recipe



    CUT 1 of the cake layers as shown in Diagram; leave remaining cake layer whole. For ease in cutting, measure and mark distances with toothpicks first; then cut between toothpicks with sharp knife. Arrange cake pieces on large tray, (at least 21x12-inches).

    PLACE a small amount of COOL WHIP between cake pieces to hold them in place. Frost top and sides of cake with COOL WHIP. Decorate with JELL-O Beans and licorice as desired. Make 12 to 16 servings.

    Great Substitute: A cutting board, baking sheet or foil-covered cardboard may be used in place of the tray.

    Storage Know How: Store cakes frosted with COOL WHIP Whipped Topping in the refrigerator.
