    (Yield: 1-1/2 dozen)
    2 cups self-rising flour
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 cup sour cream
    2/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
    2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
    1-1/2 cups chopped plums
    2/3 cup sugar
    1/3 cup self-rising flour
    1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    3 tablespoons butter or margarine

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray 18 muffin cups with non-stick vegetable spray.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar; make a well in the center. Add egg, milk, sour cream, and butter; stir until just moistened. Fold in lemon rind and plums. Spoon into prepared muffin cups until full; set aside.

    In a medium bowl, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, and butter; mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over muffins.

    Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.
