    8 to 10 peaches, peeled, pitted, and cut into ¼-inch-thick slices
    Juice of 1 lemon
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons cornstarch
    One 9-inch pie shell (store-bought or homemade)

    Recipe



    1. Preheat the oven to 375°.

    2. Combine the peaches, lemon juice, sugar, and cornstarch in a large bowl, and toss together lightly.

    3. Transfer the mixture to a 9-inch pie pan lined with the pie shell.

    4. Bake the pie for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the edges of the crust are lightly browned.

    5. Let the pie rest for 15 minutes before serving.
