    1 (2 lb.) pkg. Frozen southern-style hash-brown potatoes
    8 oz. (2 c.) shredded Swiss cheese
    ¼ c. butter
    3 T. flour
    3 c. milk
    1 t. salt
    1 t. onion powder
    ½ t. white pepper
    ½ t. nutmeg

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 13”x9” glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In the baking dish, combine the potatoes and cheese; toss to mix.

    Melt butter in large saucepan. Stir in flour to make a medium roux. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Add salt, onion powder, pepper and nutmeg; mix well. Cook and stir until mixture comes to a boil. Pour over potato mixture.

    Bake for 55 – 60 minutes or until mixture is set and top is lightly browned.
