    Recipe Introduction

Everyone knows how to make cinnamon sugar, right? Well, you'd be surprised at the number of requests I've had for the recipe, so here it is, along with just a few suggested uses for it. I'm sure you'll have many more!

    List of Ingredients

Remember and use the 4/4 rule!
    4 TBSP. granulated sugar
    4 tsp. cinnamon

    Recipe

Mix sugar with cinnamon. Store in a shaker top salt shaker or spice bottle with a shaker top. Sprinkle as desired on hot buttered toast or applesauce.

Good, too, sprinkled on leftover pie crust dough that has been lightly brushed with melted butter. Bake the dough in a preheated 350 degree F. oven until lightly browned, about 12 to 15 minutes.

Mom used to serve toasted and buttered bread, topped with a couple spoonfuls of applesauce and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar as a great Sunday morning treat when we were kids! I still do it sometimes.

On occasion, I also brush the tops of two crust pies with egg white and sprinkle a little on top, sometimes through a pretty doilie for a different, attractive pie!
