    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    20 chicken wings or drummettes
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. hot pepper sauce
    1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    Oil for frying
    Yummy Blue Cheese Dip or ranch dip

    Combine flour, salt, cayenne and paprika in a bowl. Coat chicken pieces in dry mixture; set remaining mixture aside. Refrigerate coated chicken for at least 1 hour. Coat chicken again in dry mixture. In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat butter, hot sauce, pepper flakes, cayenne, black pepper and garlic powder just until butter melts. Keep warm over low heat. Whisk mixture just before using. Heat oil in deep fryer or pan to 375°. Deep fry chicken, 10 pieces at a time for 13 minutes. Drain chicken on paper towels. Immediately place chicken in a plastic container with a good seal. Pour half of hot sauce mixture over chicken (first 10 pieces). Cover and toss to coat. Repeat with second batch of chicken. Serve with Yummy Blue Cheese Dip. Wings can be frozen and reheated in 400° oven for 10 minutes. Makes 20.
