    List of Ingredients




    2 (15 ounce) cans great northern beans rinsed and drained
    1 cup finely chopped yellow onion
    1 (4 1/2) ounce can diced green chiles
    1 teaspoon ground cumin divided
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 (14 1/2) ounce can fat free chicken broth
    1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
    1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
    1/3 cup sour cream (optional)

    Recipe



    Combine beans, onion, chiles, garlic powder and 1/2 teaspoon of the ground cumin in a slow cooker.

    Cook on low 8 hours or on high 4 hours.

    Stir in cilantro, olive oils and remaining 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin.

    Garnish with sour cream if desired.
