List of Ingredients



• 2 teaspoons baking powder
  
• 2 cups self-rising flour
  
• 2 teaspoons powdered sugar
  
• 6 tablespoons shortening
  
• 1 cup buttermilk
  






Instructions



1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine dry ingredients and shortening; cut in until it's crumb, then add the buttermilk. Mix well. Roll out and cut out biscuits. Place close together in pan. Bake for 10 minutes or until browned. Pour melted margarine over top, place under broiler a few minutes, watching carefully.
   
2. Note: When cutting biscuits, cut straight down into dough.
