    Danish: Peachy Cheese Danish

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (8 ounce) tube refrigerated cresent rolls
    • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • 8 teaspoons peach preserves
    • Glaze:
    • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 to 2 teaspoons milk


    Instructions


    1. Separate dough into four rectangles, seal perforations. On lightly floured surface, roll each rectangle into 7 inch by 3 1/2 inch rectangle.

    2. Combine cream cheese, sugar, and lemon juice until smooth; spread over rectangles. Roll up from long side, pinch edges to seal. Holding one end, loosely coil each.

    3. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Top each coil with 2 tsp preserves. Bake at 350 fro 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

    4. For glaze, combine powdered sugar, vanilla, and enough milk to achieve desired consistency. Drizzle over top of each baked coil while warm.
