• 1 1/2 cups egg whites
  
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
  
• 1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  
• 3/4 teaspoon almond extract
  
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  
• 2 1/4 cups sugar
  
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour
  






Instructions



1. Beat egg whites and salt in very large mixer bowl until foamy. Add cream of tarter, almond extract, and vanilla extract and beat until stiff. Fold in 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoon at a time.
   
   
2. Sift flour and 1 1/2 cup sugar together and fold in. Turn into ungreased tube pan. Bake at 375 degrees. for 1 hour. Invert pan and cool, then remove.
