    List of Ingredients


    • 1 box Betty Crocker SuperMoist yellow cake mix
    • 1 cup mashed very ripe banana (2 medium)
    • 1/3 cup water
    • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 teaspoon almond extract
    • 1/2 cup almond brickle chips
    • 1/2 cup chocolate flavor syrup
    • 1/2 cup caramel topping
    • Chocolate or vanilla ice cream, if desired


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom and sides of a rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches, with shortening; lightly flour.
    2. In a large bowl, beat cake mix, bananas, water, oil, eggs and almond extract with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Pour into pan. Sprinkle brickle chips evenly over batter. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until cake springs back when touched lightly in center. Run knife around sides of pan to loosen cake, Cool completely, about 1 hour. Drizzle cake with chocolate syrup and caramel topping. Serve with ice cream.
    3. High Altitude (35000 - 6500 Ft.): Stir 3 tablespoons Gold Medal all-purpose flour into dry cake mix, Increase water to 1/2 cup; decrease oil to 2 tablespoons. Bake 38 to 43 minutes.
    4. Yield: 12 servings
