    Cake: Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
    • 4 tablespoons cocoa
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup cold water
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla
    • 1 cup mayonnaise


    Instructions


    1. Sift together, flour, baking soda, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add water, vanilla and mayonnaise; mix well. Pour into 2 8" or 9" round cake pans. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until tests done. Ice with favorite icing.
