Pie: Southern Peanut Butter Pie

List of Ingredients



• 1 cup light or dark corn syrup
  
• 1 cup sugar
  
• 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  
• 1/3 cup chunky peanut butter
  
• 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
  
• 1 cup whipping cream
  






Instructions



1. Combine first five ingredients, mixing until thoroughly blended. Pour into prepared pastry shell. Bake in hot oven 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to moderate 350 degrees and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer. Filling should appear slightly less set to center. Chill. Top with whipped cream.
