    Cupcakes: Toll House Cupcakes

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
    • 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 egg
    • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • Filling:
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt
    • 6 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips
    • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
    • 1/2 cup coconut, optional
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Combine butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla; beat until thick. Add egg, flour, baking soda and salt; beat until thick and well combined. Spoon batter into paper lined tins evenly dividing between 12 cupcakes.

    2. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes or until golden. Remove from oven and spoon filling into each cup, dividing evenly among cupcakes. Bake again for about 15 minutes.

    3. Filling: Combine all ingredients well.

    4. Note: You can also have a bite size dessert if miniature muffin pans are used.
