    Mint Pattie Cookies

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup butter, melted
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg
    1-3/4 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon peppermint extract
    8 ounces chocolate flavored candy coating
    1 (6 oz.) package semisweet chocolate chips

    Recipe



    Beat together:
    1/2 cup butter, melted
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg

    Add:
    1-3/4 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda


    Stir in:
    1 teaspoon peppermint extract

    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350* for 8 to 10 min. Cool on racks.

    Melt together in double boiler:

    8 ounces chocolate flavored candy coating
    1 (6 oz.) pkg semisweet chocolate chips

    Drop each cooled cookie into chocolate to coat, Shake off excess. Place on waxed paper and allow chocolate to harden. Makes about 36.
