    Pork: Barbara's Pork Chop Dinner

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 6 loin, bone in pork chops
    • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 (4 ounce) can mushroom pieces, chopped
    • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
    • 1/4 cup chicken broth
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/2 teaspoon basil
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
    • 6 red potatoes, unpeeled, sliced thin
    • 1 small onion, sliced
    • Chopped parsley


    Instructions


    1. Heat butter and oil in skillet. Brown chops on both sides; set aside.

    2. Combine soup, broth, garlic and spices in a large crockpot.

    3. Add potatoes and onions, stirring to coat.

    4. Place chops on top of potato mixture.

    5. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or on high 4 to 5 hours.

    6. Sprinkle with parsley.
