- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 (32 ounce) package hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 package brown gravy mix
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- Chopped fresh or dehydrated onion, to taste
Instructions
- Cook beef on stove until all pink is gone, breaking up as it cooks; drain off grease. Place beef, onion and potatoes in crockpot; stir.
- Combine gravy mix and boiling water; pour over mixture. Dot with butter. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.
