Green Chile Stew

- 3 tablespoons oil
- 2 galic cloves, minced
- 1 large onion, minced
- 1 pound ground sirloin
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 2 (4 ounce) cans diced green chiles (fresh Hatch chiles if available)
- 4 large potatoes, diced
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen corn
- 1 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon crushed oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Brown onion, garlic, sirloin and pork in oil in skillet. Cook until meat is no longer pink. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low 4 to 6 hours or until potatoes are soft.
