Pork: Peking Pork Chops

- 6 pork chops about 1" thick
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 or 2 garlic cloves mashed
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from pork chops
- Place pork chops in crockpot.
- Combine brown sugar, ground ginger, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic and salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook covered on low 4 to 6 hours or until tender.
- Season with salt and pepper (optional).
- 6 servings at 7 points for pork chops, 4 points for porl loin, and 3 points for chicken thighs.
Final Comments
Serve with steamed white rice or chinese noodles.
