    Turkey: Santa Fe Turkey Breast

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 to 5 pound boneless turkey breast, thawed if frozen
    • 1 cup salsa
    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • 1 tablespoon chopped chipolte chili in adobo sauce (from 7 ounce can)
    • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
    • 2 tablespoons water


    Instructions


    1. Spray 5 to 6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray.

    2. Place turkey in cooker.

    3. Mix salsa, honey and chili in small bowl; pour over turkey.

    4. Cover and cook on low heat setting 7 to 8 hours.

    5. Remove turkey from cooker; cover to keep warm.

    6. Pour juices from cooker into 4 cup microwavable measuring cup.

    7. Mix cornstarch and cold water in small bowl until smooth; stir into juices in cup.

    8. Microwave uncovered on high 3 to 5 minutes, stirring every minute, until mixture boils and thickens.

    9. Serve with turkey.
