    Vegetable: Stuffed Peppers

    List of Ingredients


    • 6 bell peppers
    • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, uncooked
    • 1 egg
    • 3/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
    • 1 cup minute rice, uncooked
    • 1 (25 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce


    Instructions


    1. Cut off tops off peppers and clean them out.

    2. Combine remaining ingredients, except spaghetti sauce and stuff peppers.

    3. Place in crockpot and add spaghetti sauce.

    4. Shake parmesan cheese over the top.

    5. Turn on high for 1 hour, then low for 7 more hours.

    6. If you have left over meat mixture, brown in pan and sprinkle on top of peppers.
