Sweet And Sour Meatballs

List of Ingredients
- Meatballs:
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 1/4 cups bread crumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 to 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
- Sauce:
- 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks, juice reserved
- 3 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 cup chopped green peppers
Instructions
- Combine all meatball ingredients. Shape into 60 meatballs. Brown in nonstick skillet, rolling so all sides are browned. Place meatballs in crockpot.
- Pour juice from pineapple into skillet. Stir into drippings. Combine cornstarch and cold water. Add to skillet and stir until thickened.
- Stir in ketchup and worcestershire sauce. Season with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Add green peppers and pineapple. Pour over meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low 6 hours.
- Makes 6 to 8 main dish servings, or 20 appetizer servings.
