    • 1 cup self-rising flour
    • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    • 3/4 cup sour cream
    • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil


    Instructions


    1. In a bowl , combine flour and baking soda. Add sour cream and oil; stir until moistened.
    2. Turn onto a floured surface; knead 4 to 6 times. Roll out to 3/4 inch thickness; cut with a 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter.
    3. Place on a greased baking sheet. Lightly spray tops with nonstick cooking spray.
    4. Bake at 425 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. 4 biscuits
    5. As a substitute for self-rising flour place 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a measuring cup. Add all-purpose flour to equal 1 cup.
