    List of Ingredients


    • Crust:
    • 2 cups Martha White All-Purpose Flour
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
    • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
    • Filling:
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 2 tablespoons Martha White All-Purpose Flour
    • 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel, if desired
    • 6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    • 6 eggs, beaten
    • Powdered sugar


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13x9 inch pan. In medium bowl, combine 2 cups flour, 1/4 cup sugar, salt and butter; mix until crumbly. Stir in pecans. Press mixture in bottom of greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until light golden brown.
    2. Meanwhile, in another medium bowl, combine all filling ingredients except powdered sugar; beat until smooth.
    3. Remove partially baked crust from oven. Pour filling over crust. Return to oven; bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until filling is set. Cool 30 minutes or until completely cooled. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into squares.
    4. Yield: 18 bars
