    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
    • 1 cup packed brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 3 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar


    Instructions


    1. In a saucepan, melt butter; stir in brown sugar.
    2. Cook and stir until bubbly. Remove from heat.
    3. Add milk; beat vigerously until smooth.
    4. Add powdered sugar; beat by hand until of spreading consistency.
    5. Immediately frost tops of two 8 or 9" layers or top of one 9x13"cake.
