    Beef: Belgian Meat Balls

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound ground beef
    • 1/4 cup cornmeal
    • 1 teaspoon chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
    • 2 tablespoons onion, chopped
    • 1 teaspoon each, salt and pepper
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl; blend well. Roll into balls, then roll in flour and brown them in an oven proof skillet or dutch oven. Drain off excess grease. Add 1/4 cup flour to 1 1/2 to 2 cups tomatoes or tomato juice and pour over meatballs. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes, or until done.
