    Chicken With Broccoli And Garlic

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • 4 medium skinless, boneless chicken thighs (about 12 ounces total)
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 bulb garlic , separated into cloves and sliced (about 1/4 cup)
    • 1 cup chicken broth
    • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
    • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey
    • 6 cups packaged shredded broccoli (broccoli slaw mix)
    • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans toasted


    Instructions


    1. In a plastic bag, combine flour, salt and pepper.
    2. Add chicken, shaking to coat.
    3. In a large skillet, cook chicken in hot oil over medium heat for 12 to 15 minutes, or until chicken is tender nd no longer pink, turning once.
    4. Transfer chicken to a serving platter; cover and keep warm.
    5. Add garlic to skillet. Cook and stir for 1 minute.
    6. Add broth, vinegar, and honey.
    7. Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
    8. Simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes.
    9. Stir in broccoli.
    10. Return to boiling; reduce heat.
    11. Simmer, covered for 5 to 8 minutes more or until broccoli is tender.
    12. Stir in pecans.
    13. Spoon the broccoli mixture over chicken.
    14. Makes 4 servings.
