Even a budget cut of meat comes out juicy and tender. The pressure cooker has no equal for roasts.





List of Ingredients



• 3 pound beef pot roast
  
• Vegetable oil
  
• 4 cups water
  
• Salt and pepper
  
• 1 onion, chopped
  
• 1 bay leaf
  






Instructions



1. Heat cooker, add oil and brown meat on all sides. Place roast on rack in cooker and add all other ingredients. Close cover securely, cook 45 minutes with pressure regulator rocking slowly. Let pressure drop of it's own accord. thicken gravy, if desired.
