    Aunt Josie McCall

    Recipe Introduction

This recipe can be used for Parker House, Cloverleaf or Cinnamon Rolls.

    List of Ingredients

    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 stick margarine, melted
2 packets yeast in 1/2 cup warm water
    1/2 cup sugar
    3 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 cups milk
    7 cups flour

    Recipe

Add ingredients to bowl with 7 cups flour:
    1. milk and yeast, 2. sugar, 3. salt, 4. eggs, 5. melted margarine. Add one ingredient at a time, stiring with a wooden spoon. Mixture will be sticky. As soon as the flour disappears, cover and let rise. (It won't take too long.) I use a large tupperware bowl, and burp the lid often. Take out half the dough to start with.

For Parker House, roll dough on floury surface, adding flour to dough as you go since it's quiet sticky and soft. Cut in circles. Dip circle in melted butter and double on cookie sheet.

For Clover Leaf, roll dough into three small balls (adding flour as needed) and place in muffin tin.

For cinnamon rolls, roll dough into triangle. Spread top with melted margarine, sprinkle on brown sugar, then cinnamon. Add raisins if you like. Roll up, slice and bake.

350 degrees for about 15 minutes.
