    Recipe Introduction


    Bake at 350F. Makes two loaves. Serves 8 to 10.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
    • 1/2 lb. ground pork
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
    • 2 TBS. chopped celery
    • 2 tsp. salt/1/4 tsp. pepper
    • 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
    • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    • 1 TBS. Worcestershire sauce
    • 4 slices soft bread cubes
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 cup chili sauce


    Instructions


    1. Mix the two meats together.
    2. Stir in the next seven ingredients.
    3. Soak bread in milk, add eggs. Beat with rotary beater. Combine the meat and egg mixture.
    4. Form into 2 loaves and roll each in bread crumbs.
    5. Spread 1/2 cup chili sauce over each loaf.
    6. Pour 1/2 cup boiling water around loaves.
    7. Bake at 350F for 1 hour.
