    Recipe Introduction


    This chili has complete protein and is totally vegan.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 can kidney beans, drained
    • 1 cup brown rice
    • 1 can chopped tomatos
    • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
    • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 1 TBSP chili powder
    • 1 tsp iodized sea salt (optional)
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 1 tsp sweet basil


    Instructions


    1. STOVETOP INSTRUCTIONS
    2. Place all ingredients in a pot.
    3. Bring to a boil.
    4. Simmer until the beans are soft.
    5. Enjoy
    6. SLOWCOOKER INSTRUCTIONS
    7. Place all ingredients in a slowcooker.
    8. Cook on low for a long time or cook on high for not so long a time.


    Final Comments


    A legume(bean), a vegetable, and a grain combined form complete protein.
