Recipe Introduction
This chili has complete protein and is totally vegan.
List of Ingredients
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 1 cup brown rice
- 1 can chopped tomatos
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 TBSP chili powder
- 1 tsp iodized sea salt (optional)
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sweet basil
Instructions
- STOVETOP INSTRUCTIONS
- Place all ingredients in a pot.
- Bring to a boil.
- Simmer until the beans are soft.
- Enjoy
- SLOWCOOKER INSTRUCTIONS
- Place all ingredients in a slowcooker.
- Cook on low for a long time or cook on high for not so long a time.
Final Comments
A legume(bean), a vegetable, and a grain combined form complete protein.
