Prosciutto and Gouda Panini Sandwich

2 slices sourdough or other crusty bread
3 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
3 oz thinly sliced prosciutto
2 oz sliced smoked gouda
4 slices of red onion
2 slices of tomato
2 oz shredded fontina cheeseRecipe
Directions:
Brush both sides of the slices of bread with olive oil or butter. Assemble the sandwich layers as follows: prepared bread, prosciutto, smoked gouda, onions, tomato, fontina, and bread. Place on heated grill plan, saute pan or griddle and press with panini press and cook until crisp and golden. Serve immediately.
