    Death by Chocolate Cookie


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 pkgs, 8 oz each, semi sweet chocolate, or 1 pound semi sweet
    • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
    • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
    • 2 eggs.
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1/4 tsp baking powder.


    Instructions


    1. 2 pkgs, 8 oz each, semi sweet chocolate, or 1 pound semi sweet
      chocolate.
      Break 1 package into pieces. (I put the chocolate in a plastic bag,
      then
      smashed with a hammer, worked well)
      melt the other package in a large micowave bowl. Heat 1-3 minutes on
      medium, or in short bursts on high, until glossy, stir.


    2. add to chocolate in bowl the rest of the ingredients
    3. Stir well stir in 2 cups nuts if desired and chocolate chunks.
      Drop onto lightly greased sheets, bake at 350° 12-14 minutes, cookies need to be puffed up slightly, and look set. Do not over bake.
