    Easy " No-Peek" Beef

    This is a family and friends favorite. I always get requests for the recipe.. because it's really good
    I like the recipe because it's really easy!


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 lbs. stew meat cut into one inch cubes
    • 1 Can Campbells cream of mushroom soup (Undilluted)
    • 1 12 oz. Jar of whole mushrooms
    • 1 Envelope Lipton Onion-mushroom dry soup mix
    • 1/3 Cup semi-dry red wine
    • 6 Cups of cooked rice/ or egg noodles
    • * Optional 2 T of corn starch


    Instructions


    1. 2 quart crock pot
    2. Add Beef, soup(s)
    3. Mix together
    4. Add wine
    5. Cook on low for 5 hours
    6. Add mushrooms
    7. Cook one more hour
    8. Serve over rice
    9. Garnish with fresh or dried Savory
    10. * Corn starch can thicken the sauce if you like.


    Final Comments


    Great when left over ( almost never)
    But goes a long way to use up bread & buns
