List of Ingredients



• 2 cups sugar
  
• 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  
• 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  
• 2 teaspoon baking soda
  
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
  
• 3/4 cup solid shortening
  
• 2 cups flour
  
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
  
• 2 eggs
  






Instructions



1. Melt shortening and sugar in boiling water.
   
   
2. Add rest of dry ingredients plus eggs and vanilla in order given.
   
   
3. Bake in well greased 9X13 pan.
   
   
4. 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.325 degrees if glass pan for same amount of time.
