Linda's Spicy Taco Dip Delight

Recipe Introduction

I created this recipe for my niece's graduation day party, and it was a big hit! I got compliments from everyone who ate this :)

List of Ingredients

2 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 packet of Old El Paso taco seasoning mix
1 can refried beans
1 can Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies
1/2 of 8 oz. bottle (med. hot)Ortega taco sauce
1 small can sliced, black olives, diced
1 8 oz. pkg. Cheddar and Mozzarella cheese


Recipe

Unwrap the cream cheese, and place in plastic or glass bowl and put in microwave for 45 seconds.

Add 1/2 packet of taco seasoning mix and mix well.

Layer mixture on bottom of glass 9x13" pan.

Next, spread the refried beans over the cream cheese.

In a separate bowl mix the Rotel tomatoes and the salsa. Add this for the next layer.

Add the diced black olives for the next layer, then top with the cheese. Chill.

Serve with tortilla chips.
